Who Pooped? Scat and Tracks at Coyote Valley

January 27, 2019 @ 9:30 am - 12:30 pm

The Loma Prieta Family Explorers invite curious girls and boys for a hilly ramble in quest of paw prints and scat at Coyote Valley Open Space Preserve. Who know whose prints we may find? Coyote, bobcat, or maybe even of the puma who roam this land? Arrowhead trail offers beautiful views of green Coyote Valley, the last undeveloped valley floor in our region. After the hike we will enjoy lunch under the shade of magnificent oaks. This moderate hike is for families with kids ages 6 to 12 who can comfortably walk 4 miles. The Sierra Club requires signing a waiver at the trailhead.

Level: Moderate

Bring: Hat, sunscreen, plenty of water, binoculars, lunch
