West Plaza, Outside of San Jose City Hall Rotunda

The San Jose City Council is bringing the future of Coyote Valley to a special study session. Now is the time to stand together for Coyote Valley.

In November 2017, the Protect Coyote Valley Initiative was launched and nearly 5,000 people have signed the petition calling for the protection and restoration of the Coyote Valley region in south San Jose. Then in November 2018, San Jose voters supported Measure T which includes $50 million for the flood protection provided by Coyote Valley. Let’s celebrate our incredible community and demonstrate to the City Council the widespread community support for this irreplaceable resource.

Food, beverages, and signage will be provided. We will rally outside of City Hall and walk into council chambers together with our Protect Coyote Valley signs. Press will be invited to the event.

Bring an umbrella if there is a light rain; downpour cancels the rally. Parking and public transportation directions can be found here.

First 150 RSVPs get a Protect Coyote Valley t-shirt. RSVP using the form below!
